CHILDREN’S CLASSES
Children 3-6 monthly cooking/baking classes

These 2-3hr classes are designed to introduce young children to the art of cooking and baking. In these sessions students will learn how to correctly wash their hands, kitchen etiquette, how to measure dry and wet ingredients, how to use various kitchen utensils like scales, cups, etc., learn to work as part of a team and various cooking methods. These classes are held on the first Saturday of each month and interchange between baking and cooking to allow students maximum exposure.

Children 7-17 monthly cooking/baking classes

These 2-3hr classes are suited for children new to the kitchen and for students who want to further their knowledge. In these sessions students will learn how to use various kitchen utensils like scales, cups, etc., the correct way of handling meat, kitchen etiquette, learn to work as part of a team, various cooking methods, how to read and follow a recipe, making buttercream, knife skills and MORE! These classes are held on the second Friday of each month and are a great way to foster creativity, independence, and experimentation in the kitchen. Summer Cooking Course for Children 7-17

Summer Cooking Course for Children 7-17: this 5-week course exposes children to various methods of preparing meals from around the Caribbean and the wider world. Students will learn kitchen etiquette, knife skills, cooking techniques like boiling, sautéing, braising etc. The menu for this class includes:
– Macaroni pie

Summer Cake and Pastry Course for Children 7-17

This 6-week course will teach your child various techniques in preparing baked goods such as the creaming method and the rub in method. Each class, students will learn and practice how to measure ingredients correctly, how to read and follow recipes, how to use the oven, how to test baked goods to see if they are fully baked, how to work as part of a team and MORE! The menu for this class includes:
